About the Director - Sivan Dhaver

Sivan Dhaver holds a BSc (Hons) in Hydrology from the University of Zululand, obtained in 2004, and is a registered professional scientist (Pr Sci Nat). He has almost 10 years experience in hydrology/hydraulics related projects within South Africa, Africa, Pakistan and Finland. In addition to this, Sivan has worked in the United Kingdom (UK), gaining valuable experience in the field of surface water monitoring of large catchments.

Prior to starting SD Hydrological Services, Sivan worked for a leading environmental company as a unit manager for the surface water hydrology department.

His key areas of expertise include surface water baseline and impact assessment studies, stormwater management plans for both mining and urban environments, water and salt balances, and floodline delineations.

Sivan is currently completing his graduate diploma in engineering (GDE) in Civils at the University of Witwatersrand.
